Since 2009 I have been teaching and doing research in New Testament exegesis at the Centre for Theology and Religious Studies, being employed as an assistant professor beginning in 2014. In addition to that, I serve the department as Director of undergraduate studies in religion and theology during 2012-17.
My research has primarily focussed on questions about the historical Jesus and the Gospels, although my current interest is in Paul and his place within the Hellenistic tradition of 'paideia'.
Contributing to high-quality education, both in terms of scholarly level and pedagogical standards, is one of my concerns. I teach and supervise undergraduate students of New Testament studies and act as an assistant supervisor of one PhD project.
During 2002-2009 I worked at the University of Gothenburg, where I also earned my PhD.
